Entrevue de Grégory Jean-Baptiste, coordonnateur de Caribarte à la Radio CPAM
The theme
The 2024 edition of Caribarte aims to explore the concept of identity in collaboration with visual artists, a challenging task due to the polysemic nature of the concept.
Do we have a clear idea of our identity when we're perceived by others without our knowledge or when we’re obligated to reveal it multiple times, daily? Should we first consider the objective or subjective elements of identity? External or internal? Individual or group characteristics? Is identity immutable, multifaceted, and diverse?
Caribarte invites creators to dive into the theme of Unstable/Mutable identities and submit their work at [email protected] from April 20 to July 20, 2024.

For our 2024 edition, Caribarte is launching an open call for submissions from visual artists. Artists are welcome to submit their work depicting this year's theme: Unstable/Mutable Identities.
